Dr said I have another week!!! :) r dr's pretty good at guessing that?

  • All anyone can do is guess. I'd bet you are as good a guesser as your dr.
    You'll start labor when your body & baby are ready and not a second earlier. :)

  • i was 100% epased for 6 wks, and every time i went in he said another wk, im glad he was off cuz i really didnt wanna have my baby befor 37 wks, i already had one premie and did not want another!

  • Guesses are off more often then they're right. You could go into labor today or it could be 2 more weeks.

  • My midwife kept telling me "anytime in the next day or two you will ahve a baby" i was 100% and 4cm and having contractions every 2-4 mins for 2 weeks. I was in and out of the hospital for 2 weeks (5-6 times) before I had my son. I was stuck at 100% and 5cm when they broke my water and 5 hours later I had my baby boy

  • and i walked over 5 miles a day, had sex at least 2 times a day (once in the AM and once in the PM) worked a birthing ball did squats and lunges and nothing helped me dilate anymore

  • No, they are often wrong. You could go right this second or it could be another 2 weeks. I was 100% effaced and 5cm with my third for a couple of weeks.
