How does your DH/SO act around his male friends?

This might be an odd question but I am curious how your DH/SO acts around his male friends. My DH has this close guy friend. . .they've been friends for about a year now. He's a nice guy, older then us. ..but their relationship seems a bit. . .off to me. They are pretty. . .touchy. It's hard to put into words. . . I've never really watched my DH around friends before so I don't know what is normal or not. I am probably over analyzing things but sometimes it. ..freaks me out

  • I don't know why but every guy I know likes to fake hump and act gay with each other. lol Weirdos. Does your DH and his friend jokingly act gay with each other, or do they like caress each other tenderly lol

  • oh I wrote my response before I saw yours... Well, that is normal to me lol but my dh and friends are just weird... Is your DH young? Age may be a factor... All the guys I know are like 20 through 30 and immature lol. Then again maybe they are just all gay on the down low lol

  • My husband and his brother like play fight (soft punches, that turn into hugs)...It's almost like thier way of communicating, instead of saying "how are you doing".
Socially awkward if you ask me.

  • i guess it depends on the kind of touching... my husband is a hugger. but if there are lots of touches to the arms, legs, face, etc. that would be kinda gay. does his voice change, etc?

  • I really don't know. My dh doesnt bave many friends, just the guys he works with and they never come over and he never goes to thier houses or out together. He gave up having friends a LONG time ago when he and his ex wife were divorcing and he had found out that she slept with just about every single one of his friends. Isn't that sad.

  • Mine acts the same way he acts around everyone.

It's funny though, how you are worried about them being "touchy". My husband had this friend Rob. Rob's wife and I were convinced they were gay together. They would walk really close together and talk animatedly. It was pretty funny.
Maybe your hubby is just super comfy around this particular friend. I doubt you need to worry.
