  • Depends what's on sale. I make my list almost entirely from the sale ads. I don't have a regular list, I feed my family according to what's on sale. Today though, my list had apples, bread, milk, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, cereal, mac & cheese, tuna, veggies, and a variety of other things on it. Everything was on sale of course ;).

  • My list is usually something like this:
Lettuce, Tomato, Celery, baby carrots, Apples, Bananas, Grapes, Strawberries
2 bags of Frozen Chicken Breast, 2 large packs of Ground Turkey, Lunch meat (usually turkey breast and Light Salami)
Shredded Cheese, Sliced Cheese, Sour Cream, Yogurt, Milk, Eggs
Italian Style Stewed Tomatoes, Mexican Style stewed Tomatoes, Taco Seasoning, Spaghetti Seasoning, Green Beans, Corn, Broccoli, Wheat Sandwich Bread, Texas Toast... And then the stuff you need just sometimes, like ketchup, mustard, mayo, bbq sauce, Italian Dressing, Ranch, etc...

I'm sure I've left out some things, but you get the general idea

  • I feed a fam of 5- 2 adults and 3 kids. At least 6 dinners- fish fillets, polish sausage and rice, boneless chicken breast, pasta noodles and sauce, frozen family size enchiladas, chicken nuggets. Frozen vegies- brocoli, peas and carrots, corn. Then theres breakfast foods- cinnamon life cereal, poptarts, choc chip waffles, gogurts. For lunches I buy white bread and wheat bread and turkey lunchmeat and nutella spread or peanut butter spread. The kids also like toasted cream cheese sandwhiches. Then snack foods for after school- max packs of individual chips, cookie packs, applesauce containers, fruit cocktail containers, bananas, cuties oranges. 1 gallon of milk, half gallon of vanilla soy, half gallon of choc soy. Lemonade mix- stretches a long way. This is the jist of what I get weekly.
