moldy smell.

my sink has this nasty smell coming out of it what can i do with out calling a plumber?

  • Try pouring some vineagar and baking soda and see what happens.

  • Run orange peels down it. Also make sure your trap under the sink is full of water. The water insures that the gases from the pipes do not come up.

  • Dno't use bleach esp if you have a septic system. I pour baking soda and let it sit without rinsing. Vinegar later.

  • i agree baken soda...let it sit for 20 mins then rinse and then add some vinar wait 10 mins rinse and whait for the sink to dry and see if u still get the smell. best of luck.
