  • yes,

if you want more, you work harder.
If you respect your self, others will respect you.
If you love hard, you will be loved back.
If you love your self, people will love you.

To the fullest, it is true... I am learning the hard way.

  • Only to a certain extent....I mean, tell that to all the people gassed in the holocaust....those were events beyond their control...that being said, you can improve your life (barring a holocaust, of course!), and make it better in many ways.

  • I think to an extent as well. You make the choices you do, but so does everyone else. In a sense you decide what paths you can take only for yourself on decisions taht affect only you, which are few and far between. Everything you do has an effect on someone else as well. So in a sense, yes, but you have to take things one day and one thing at a time.

  • Yes I agree with it completely. Because, even though we cannot control all outside things, we can control our reaction to them.

  • Yes, and after what I heard last night about a so- called friend, I will no longer have sympathy for a lot of things I hear about.

  • Definitely agree. We may get dealt bad circumstances, but it's how we handle them & what we do with it that makes our life better or worse. And attitude is everything. When we learn to be content in all circumstances, then, life isn't so bad.
