  • Yes. You need to get a pillow and hold it firmly on the incision for support when you sneeze or cough.

There is a six week recovery following a c-section. You will be able to do almost everything you could before surgery at 4 weeks post partum. But you will not be able to lift anything or feel completely like yourself until 6 weeks PP.

  • Yes it is normal.

Eventually it won't hurt, it just always feels wierd.

It stinks but you can do it... :)

    Good luck!!! Congratulations.

  • Yes its normal.. It hurts for a little bit. With my first I came out of the hospital w/ a cold & it was horrible to cough.. Hold a pillow (like hug it) when you have to do any of those things.. It helps a little.... It will get better...

  • It's normal. Try holding a pillow when you sneeze or cough it helps it to not hurt as much.
