so i was thinking kabobs sound really good for dinner tonight...i have everything i need for them, but are the veggies ok for them: onion tomato, squash....and i have broccoli, carrots and cauliflour, but can i use those?

  • Be sure to put your more condensed vegetables together on the same skewer or they will have different cooking times. Some will be over done and others will be raw. I usually put my veggies in a tin foil pocket and grill them separate from the meat.

  • I'd put each of the vegs seperate - tomatoes don't take long at all, squash will take a lot longer, and onions are middle of the road. Same with the others - broccoli won't take near as long as carrots, cauliflower is in the middle.

  • You can put anything you like on them, and a really good marinade (sp?) for them is italian dressing!!!

  • What we found to be easier than using skewers is to use fish baskets made for the grill. Load the basket up with your veggies and grill.
