The name Torrance for a girl

What do you think of the name Torrance for a little girl? Tori for short. Middle name to go that goes good with a last name starting in with the re sound?

  • Personally I never understood why people name their kids one name then call them something else(nickname). My oldest DD I named Tonya so there could not be a nick name. but I let my mom name my youngest DD Christine. But I never called her anything but Christine.
To each their own I guess.

  • Louise2 - you let your mom name your kid??
Not a fan of Torrance - looks clumsy like Terrance, and tourettes - Why not just call her Tori? Tori Claire - Haha just said that aloud eclaire yum
I went out with a guy named Christopher, his brother was Nicholas and sister Amelia. His Mom would spack out it we called them anything shortened- I could never figure out why you'd give all three of your kids 3 or more syllable names and be surprised that people shortened them LOL
