My 8 month old baby has a temp of 103.8 what do I do?

can this wait till morning or do I need to take her in?

  • try and get the fever down and call ur doc first thing. also fluids.... actually idk call ur doc

  • Put a cool washcloth on her forehead alternate Tylenol & Motrin every 2 hours she will be fine.

  • Do not give her any medicine. If she gets more symptoms the meds will cover them up and you won't know what's wrong with her. Give her water and put a cool wash cloth on her head.

  • Alternate Tylenol and Motrin to see if it brings the fever down. I would still call her doctor anyways (tonight) to see what he/she says and possibly schedule an appointment to bring her in tomorrow. Is she having any other symptoms? I've heard strep is going around.

  • If you take away her fever your going to take away her body's ability to fight whatever it is that's giving her that fever. Thus making everything worse.

  • Call her doctor now, if you cannot get ahold of them take her in to the er. 103.8 is very high for an 8 month old baby.
