Ok I got a positive home pregnancy test VERY early...about 10 days after conception....

I was very surprised to see it turn pink...but does this mean I have a very high HCG level early...twins?

Just wondering?

Oh and I have been to the Dr now and she confirmed my pregnancy as well :)

  • A very high HCG level doesn't really mean twins. I had a positive at 10 dpo. I had a blood test that day and my HCG was 111. It nearly quadrupled instead of doubled by the next test. I only had one baby in there though.

  • There's a wide range of 'normal' hcg and some very sensitive tests, so I wouldn't expect twins based on an early BFP, or even number that more than double in early pregnancy. Congrats on your BFP!
