ok what do u think of this?

a friend of mine just told me that she used her childs SSN to rent a place cause her credit was bad and they have almost the same name.. What do u think about this?

  • I think it's silly since they don't go by credit like buying a house or a car. They go by rental "credit" history and bank history of bad checks!

  • very much illegal. she'll only ruin her child's credit for when she is an adult too... and her daughter will have to deal with the same difficulties.

  • um, knowing a person whose father (was in the CIA) stole her credit card and ruined her credit score, not a good idea. It took her over 10 yrs to get it all straightened out, she could not get loans to go to college, it was horrible all around.
