Ques @ CF and ovulation

I chart my temp and take an opk around the CD 12-16th. And usually get pos on
CD 13-16. Following day I get a temp rise. This is of course normal.

My question is this...My CF is egg-white but my OPK is neg (one line is lighter
than the other). This happened last time also, where my CF is egg-white b4 the
opk is pos. When my OPK was pos, my CF was close to dry. On the last day
(before the day of the temp rise) it was completely dry.

WHY?? am I mr fertile when the CF is egg-white than when the OPK is pos???

It's been egg-white for the past 3 days and I've had neg opk. I'm almost sure
I'll have a pos opk in the next couple days since I'm on CD 14.

Any advice??

  • My advice: have sex. It does seem like a strange combo... but to cover your bases, I would have sex based on both indexes... so have sex each day starting from when you have the egg white cm all the way until your temps have raised. I know they say the ewcm should peak when you ovulate, but I also have heard that the creamy cm can be fertile, too (I guess there are 2 different versions of creamy cm, one fertile, the other not). Anyway, that's probably not very helpful.

  • I wish I could tell you hun! Honestly this isn't the best site for TTC info most of the time. People answer more in the pregnancy and children sections.
