I crack EVERYTHING. when I roll out of bed in the morning I have to do I head to toe. Neck, hips, knees, fingers, ankles, toes, you name it.
My fingers are about every 30-45 mins throughout the day. Neck is hourly. Knees are as needed and hips (painful) usually just in the morning, sometimes once later on.
Everything has its own reason but the worst is my neck. If I ignore it or try and skip it I get a migraine. Next worse is knuckles... if I ignore the urge I lose mobility in my fingers and cannot type/write/etc correctly. I made one rheumatologist gag audibly once, nearly throwing up in her mouth a little.
