Hair dye question

My natural hair color is really light blonde. I mean almost blind you in the sun blonde lol. I usually keep my hair red/reddish or brown, though. Right now it's a really light auburn, almost a reddish blonde because it's faded so much. I kind of want to go blonde again to see how it looks now (haven't really been blonde for about 3 years now), because it used to look really weird. I'm ok with having reddish blonde hair, and I was wondering if something like a dark ash blonde would come out really brassy or just make it kind of reddish blonde?
