  • The Immaculate Birth is the birth of Mary... and yes we stick to the belief that she was a virgin when she gave birth to Christ. She said so herself " How is this to be as I know not man". So we KNOW she was a virgin. Catholics do believe she was born with out original sin (hence the term Immaculate Conception). This is not to say that she could not sin if she had chosen to. She still had free will and could have chosen to sin and turn from God at any time, but she chose not to. As a catholic do you have to ask Mary for intercessions.. no. You never have to ask anything of her. Hope that helps out some. Many Catholics, when they are young, confuse the Immaculate Conception with the Conception of Christ. They are not the same thing.

  • The Son of Man took his flesh from his Jewish Mother, Mary. That makes her the Daughter of Man, not the Queen of Heaven. The Pope twist the scriptures to lift up Catholic Mary to divinity. To be born without sin. To claim divinity of created beings is forbidden worship of the mortal. Jesus was not born by a divine mother.
The Son of God was human when he walked on Earth in the flesh. When the Pope claim Jesus' mother's origin as a sinless divine being, because she gave flesh to Jesus, the pontiff denies Jesus' earthly humanity.

2 John 1:7 Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.

  • Curious, does scripture speak about the "immaculate concpetion" of Mary?

Does this doctrine actually CONFLICT scripture??? Can catholic doctrine conflict with the Word of God?
