have you ever heard of anyone naming their child Caillou?

While watching it w/ my kids just now I realized parents use celebrity names, celebrities KIDS names, character names from Twilight, fruits, etc.... but is Caillou ever used?

  • No, I haven't... maybe because the character Caillou is such a whiny little brat? LOL! It means 'Pebble' in french... I think it would be cute for a pet!

  • I've never heard it being used for anyone but that show but it's not like I've ever looked it up either.

  • I hate the name and the character, but my LO loves the show---she calls it "Cali" which happens to be the name of our cat.

  • I wanted to name my son that so bad, but went with a name more of my own culture. I just love it. So unique! Didn't want to be one of those "celebrity/redundant" kid naming mothers.

  • I haven't heard it - it isn't the name that bothers me as much as the character - yes - he is soooo whiny! I can't stand it!!!!
