  • Could you be more specific about what kind of routine you need to establish? For example, do you work? Do your children attend daycare? Are you married? If so, does your husband work?

  • I have a 3 1/2 year old and babysit a 4 month old and this is what we do: wake up, eat breakfast, clean up, playtime upstairs in her bedroom while I feed the baby again (he wakes up almost 2 hrs before her), go to the park/errands, play outside at home (sidewalk chalk, balls etc) eat lunch, clean up, read books for nap time, playing inside with me (often the baby is sleeping at this time so we color, work on learning letters- just some one on one time). Then after the baby eats we go outside again or run to the store or play with the neighbor. At 5-5:15 I start cooking dinner. I put the baby in the swing and my daughter helps me mix the ingredients. While it cooks (I make a lot of casseroles and things that can be baked so I can walk away from the stove) we idk just talk to my husband I think lol. Eat, clean up, baths, books, bed. Ahhhh quiet time! I hope this helps!! Routines save my sanity :)
