How to find a preschool!?

My daughter has a late birthday. But even now at 3.5 she talks about going to school & wants to go, Im a SAHM..
Id love for her to go somewhere 2-3 days a week for a few hours...
Some of our schools offer PreK, but that would be daily right?
We dont have alot of money either. I checked out KinderCare & they wanted $60 for 2 half days.....
I just dont know what to do! :( Maybe we cant afford anything period.

Its hard b/c the YMCA is $30 for 1 month! But Id have to go to the gym for dd to have a "school time" ....

  • So go to the gym? It sounds like a win/win situation to me. You can even just sit in the hot tub! Im not really sure why this is a problem. .... LOL!

  • We put Kiwi in the Community Action preschool. It's state funded and you have to meet the income requirements. It's something you could check out if you can't afford any other option.
It was a great school, she learned so much and the teachers were amazing.
Yeah, most school preschools are daily, but most of them are also half day. My mom babysat a kid that caught the bus at 7:45 and got off the bus at 11:00 or so, and there are afternoon classes as well.
