  • I see us slipping a few more notches on the global list. I do not see us becoming Greece, but that's only because so much of China's economy is smoke and mirrors. If we go, they go, and they know it. We need to transition more people into tech/sci positions, but we need the idiot government to stop making that more difficult every step of the way by forcing changes on industries that cost jobs instead of initiating slow change. You want to get more people tech trained? Start requiring integrated systems, don't try to put whole sectors into bankruptcy and put thousands out of work with penalties and fines.

  • Yes and yes. If we do not skyrocket taxes and removes ome social programs then we will have a debt of 100% to the GDP at 2012. How we are not already drowning is beyond me since we are at 40% debt to the GDP and Greece was at a measly 12%
