my one month old has been eating three oz at each feeding but then an hour later he will want another oz.should i just start feeding him 4oz at each feeding?

  • Just make sure he is hungry. If a baby's tummy is hurting they will act hungry. You can try Mylicon drops for gas and see if that lowers the ounces that he is requiring. If it does then I would consider changing formula to lactose free type. If you are nursing than you are eating something that is bothering his belly. And you will have to figure it out by elimination.

  • But, 4 oz is fine at 4 weeks old. Some doctors think they know it all. Look at what the doctor said as advice not orders.
