other than abstinence. what is a good contraceptive after having a baby a little while ago

  • I have been on the depo birth control shot for almost 6 years and with out using any other type of BC I have not gotten pregnant. Just go every 12 weeks and get a shot. Plus after a couple times your period stops

  • i got an iud. it sucked for me but a lot of women really like them. i got it at my 4 week check up. they last a long time with a low dose of hormones, but can be removed early if you want another child.

  • What about a diaphragm? They work without hormones and have no side effects. They never caused a stroke, infertility or PID; you won't gain weight, get depressed, or lose your libido; your periods won't be affected. They have never been the subject of class action lawsuits and are instantly reversible.
