Have You Cried.....

Cried over your child's hair getting cut that is. Today I cut my oldest son's hair, not his first haircut, he's had semi-regular trims since he was like 6 months old, but his hair has been a lengthy style, his whole 2 years of life. It's always a fight to trim up his hair, I think the cut hair being on his skin wigs him out and today I just used the razor so we could get through it quicker. He looks so different, older, I cried =(

  • No. I always cut my kids' hair and I don't feel sad that it makes them look more grown up. I have looked at them though and thought wow, they're getting so old! You son looks cute!

  • He's cute! And no I haven't cried at my boys haircuts, but it is amazing how much older they look after a haircut. I just always think they look so handsome.

  • he's so CUUUTE! :)
I only trim my sons hair, but last week I trimmed off 2 inches, the most I ever have. It looks short snce it has always been long but it grows fast. he needed a good summer cut since he sweats easily

  • Aww! Now he's a little man! So sweet! No,I didn't cry with my son's hair. We've always kept it really short. He has sensory issues with his autism and hates hair on his forehead.

  • I didn't cry, but my two year old had longer hair for a long time and when we cut it, it did make me sad! He didn't look like a baby any more! Lol his brother has had a bowl cut since he has grown hair, and I don't think that will change. But it's just one more reminder that they are growing up!
