Toddler Formula??

Why do companies make toddler formula? shouldnt they by the time theyre toddlers be drinking cows milk? is there something theyre not getting with cows milk that they need toddler formula? or is it a BIG fat waiste of ur $$?

  • They want our money,, and yes it does have extra vitamins,, but totally useless if your kid eats a healthy diet!

  • total waste of money they should be drinking milk and if ur kid needs more vitamins buy him a flintstones...ppl who buy toddler formula are the ones who have 3 year olds still sleeping in cribs and on bottles..

  • It helps with the immune system, and usually people use as a transition point, I dont use it, but I see why some do!

  • It may have added nutrients and calories some underwight children may need. I really don't see any point in using it unless your child has a health condition and it would be needed. My son is on a formula for ages 1-10 but that is because he needed the added calories and is allergic to foods and needed the nutrients in it. But it's a prescription only formula, not one you buy off the shelves.

  • uhhh hello....anyone think of the convenience when travelling like on long car trips and you dont want to keep an open gallon of milk in a cooler?! we buy it specifically for those types of events! =]
