  • hard...I like to have my muffin buttered too. hahahaha j/k

I'm sorry that was just too easy

I usually butter the bread and then stick it in the toaster so the butter melts on the toast while its toasting.

  • I keep my butter in the cupboard so it is always soft. And I use real butter, nothing else.

  • I don't use butter, we just put jam or honey straight on the dry toast lol. But when we DID use butter, I would use it cold from the fridge and just let the heat of the toast melt it on there. I hate the feel of softened butter.

  • We buy a box of stick butter for baking and cooking, and a tub of butter for things that require spread butter.

My favorite way to make toast is to butter the bread, add cinnamon and sugar, stick it in the oven on broil with the rack on the very top, and cook for however long it takes -usually about 5 minutes.

  • I use the spreadable butter or margarine, so it is always soft.

  • I don't eat butter on toast, just jam, honey, or Nutella...
I use butter on dinner rolls & biscuits. I use it from the fridge, & the heat of the bread usually melts it. I love the taste of real butter :)
This would be a good question for Paula Deen LOL.

  • Cold country crock margarine stick from the fridge. Where do you buy REAL butter anyways???? I really want to know.

  • I take the butter out and pre slice some 'pads' as I'm cooking the toast. It softens a little that way then the hot toast finishes it off.
