How often do you brush your 1 year olds teeth?

My son is 11 months old and has two teeth. I brush them twice a day (always at the same time I brush my own). Anyways im just wondering how often you brush your baby/toddlers teeth. Ive read that you should brush their teeth after each feeding and after they drink anything besides water. But that seems like a lot of brushing during one day lol

  • Twice a day is perfect.

What I used to do for my kids, is give them a warm, wet washcloth to play with and chew on while I cleaned up their meal, and then I used it to wipe off their face. Letting them chew on it will actually clean thier teeth and give you a head start on the clean up all at the same time.

  • I do it before bed for sure, and try to do it in the early afternoon after he has had breakfast and his formula. He is 11 months old also :) And has 6 teeth.
