  • I'd look for lowriders of any kind- hipsters or whatever they call them- to try to keep the band as low as possible.

  • From what I remember is that I wore the cheapest, ugliest, hanes granny panties. My incision leaked and I bled a lot so I didn't want to ruin anything cute. They came up pretty high. I don't remember having a problem.

  • I wore the ones the hospital gave me.. lol for some reason it was like a comfort thing. They came in handy when I started having seroma (sp) fluid.

  • Really big ones that go like to the belly button. I guess granny panties, I didnt let anything touch my scar.

  • Go to target or wal-mart and get soft comfortable high-cut briefs or boy cut. I were those panties when I am having my friend visiting they are just comfortable they are hanes brand sorry I should have told you that before and the boy-cuts are oh shit i can't make out the name but you want high cut or boy cut that are comfortable.

  • I've had 3 c-section. No bikini cuts at all or hipsters. The waistband will rub your incision. Get the plain jane full brief in a large size. The hi-cuts bothered my incision too because the leg holes cut up high enough to rub and even got caught on my staples. The most comfortable ones for me were the Hanes full brief with the soft band. You can also wear a low rise brief, just NOT bikini or hipsters.

  • I've always bought the Hanes Her Way cotton briefs in a size larger than I normally wear. They're not all that attractive, but they work and if they get ruined in the first few days of "heavy flow" I don't worry about them - they're cheap!
