What are your favorite foods in trader joes?

I enjoy going there because they have brewed coffee! When my energy level during grocery shopping is low, I drink their coffee. I think I'm getting addicted to coffee these days. What foods are in your cart whenever you shop there?

  • I like their breads because the ingredients are all things i have in my kitchen. They have a truly all natural whole grain bread for less than $2.50 (as opposed to the $5 "whole wheat/grain" loaves that are full of other junk at the grocery store). They also have the best prices on olive oil and certain cheeses. Oh, and the 100%cranberry juice is a steal there too!

  • i hear there's this yogurt drink there that's very good. I'm yet to try it. I got the cheesecake, organic lollipops, and cookies! Thanks I'll try their bread. Their cheese is very good, too. Might drop by tomorrow to get some organic chicken and red wine. I wonder what else do other people buy there? I've bought some stuffs I didn't like so I don't want to make another wrong purchase.

  • Trader Joes has many items priced much less than other places. Their frozen fruits and vegetables; organic breads, and many other items are great bargains.

  • I just went there yesterday. I got some Hansen's diet soda, these gorgonzola chips, almond milk, a few different cheeses, some of their coffee, some microwavable Indian food entrees, feta cheese dressing ( so good), and some almond butter. I love that place!

  • I love EVERYTHING at TJ's. I think my fave is their cilantro-jalepano hummus. And their wine shop :) I love me some 3 Buck Chuck! And I do not think that Trader Joe's is over-priced at all.

Actually, quite the contrary. I mean, maybe if you usually buy the .99 loaf of store brand bread and american cheese. But if you like to eat healthy, their prices on organic whole grain breads, pastas and cereal are actually significantly cheaper than the regular bread at the store. Their prices on any specialty cheeses, like goat, gouda or havarti are WAY cheaper than the store (like $5/ lb, compared to $9 lb at the grocery). Frozen berries for smoothies are like $2, And most of their stuff doesn't have High fructsoe corn syrup or nasty chemicals. I love that I work across the street from TJs!

  • i eat healthy, and i can find organic things at my local grocery store, its just that the nearest one is over an hour away from me and when i have shopped there in the past it seemed very unaffordable. dont get all deffensive about Trader Joes, sheesh i didnt say it was a terrible horrible place to shop. maybe all the natural foods have got you hyped up, haha!!

  • I am in love with TJ's. Here's what's usually always in my cart when I go: Blueberry waffles, Vanana Yogurt (Banana/Vanilla), Fruit cereal bars (I get either blueberry, strawberry or apple), bag of Kettle corn, lunch meat, organic ketchup, Hansen sodas, Strawberry lemonade (soooo good), whole wheat bread, whole chicken, hamburger patties, milk, cage free eggs, dried raspberry/almond/peanut/choc. chip trail mix, lobster rolls (california rolls), bag of salad, creamed honey, box of apple cinamon muffin/bread mix, olive oil, spaghetti sauce, vanilla ice cream, choc. syrup, apple cinnamon oatmeal, pre made taco shells, spicy taco seasoning, frozen side dishes such as their fried potatoes with veggies (can't remember the name of it), balsalmic veggies. I try and get as many of their frozen side dishes as possible, it makes my life much easier at dinner time :)
