Bratworst, it's what's for Dinner!

Yeah I'm not sure how to spell them, lol.
What would you serve with them? I'm completely lost, I don't eat these things, but DH does.

  • mac and cheese, homeade of course or saurkraute, or potato salad, or pasta salad, I am hungry for brats, but its not in the menu, maybe in august--lol tonight we are having pork roast mashed potatoes and gravey and smashed califlower. I have been craving califlower.

  • We love grilled bratwurst! I usually serve with baked beans or potato salad. They would also go good with a macaroni salad, fresh veggies, fruit salad, or oven fries.

  • Always served with sauerkraut and mustard. Right now, being pregnant, I like mayo on them too. My dad tells me that it's an abomination. Heh.

For sides, mac and cheese is good, but I do enjoy a nice garden salad with them too. Or a spinach salad. Every so often my dad will make a Waldorf salad (it's apples, grapes, walnuts and rasins in mayo and walnut sauce- sounds weird, but it's soooooo good).

  • On a bun - baked beans, lettuce salad, fruit salad (or some plain fruit, whatever). No bun - potato salad, baked beans, lettuce salad & fruit.
