  • I packed ..

Two night gowns. One was a button down and one was a nursing top gown. Where the breast fabric flipped up for easy nursing.
A going home outfit. Sometime comfortable that wouldn't feel restricting.
A pair of PJ's and a going home outfit for my husband.
Recieving blankets for baby. Going home outfit. And PJ's for baby.
    Deorderant. Hair Brush. Hair Ties.

That's about all I needed. Oh and healthy snacks for the middle of the night when the kitchen is closed.

  • lord I had everything but the kitchen sink that second time around. the first time was an emergency and we had nothing ready. lol
um, make sure to take the camera (obvious I know) but do NOT forget to bring it in so don't pack it with your other stuff. All your bags can stay in the car till after delivery when you're in a room of your own. otherwise dad's just going to be toting all the bags.

a few outifts for baby, baby boggins
loose pants for you that you don't mind if blood gets on
same for the shirts-LOOSE and low cut to breastfeed (if you want to BF)
I brought a blanket just for baby, soft and cute. he was the ONLY one in the nursery with a personalized bassinet. I loved it
I brought a little stuffed monkey for his bassinet also
ooh! BABY NAIL CLIPPERS! Remember they don't do that, it's all you and you don't want lil one cutting up their face.
    don't forget shampoo/conditioner, deo, toothbrush/paste for you

  • nothing yet, was just thinking last night I might want to pack something up (my c-section is in 4 weeks)
With my other kids I had:
change of comfy clothes for me (I HATE hospital gowns and won't wear them)
outfit for baby for coming home
blanket that each of our kids came home in (belonged to my husband when he was a baby)
personal stuff for me (shampoo and stuff)
    camera
    pillow
notebook or something to doodle on when I get bored

yeah, that's about it. The last 3 kids I left the hospital in the clothes I came in. Of course I had c-sections so I didn't have to plan for being in labor. All that was for after the surgery.

  • I'm only 17 weeks so I've got a while, but I have made a list of things to pack for the hospital:

    Socks
    Coming home outfit for me
    Coming home outfit for baby
    Magazine/Book
    Receiving Blankets
Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Hair Ties
Camera & Batteries or Battery Charger
Snacks for when cafeteria is closed
    Carseat
Carseat Cover (our baby will be born in November so it will be cold outside, make sure you pack things appropriate for the weather in case you stop somewhere on your way home from the hospital or anything comes up)
I think that's everything on my list =)
