  • We had our oldest in a bassinet in our room the first night, until we realized that a) he's an incredibly noisy sleeper, b) he was really too big to get comfortable (he was 24 inches long and 11 lbs at birth) and c) every time he snuffled or shifted we hopped out of bed and hovered while he kept on snoozing. Night #2 he was down the hall in a crib. Since then, the rest of them went right into their own rooms when we got home, but the little one's rooms all open off of my room so it's like we have one giant bedroom :-)

  • 2 months old. They slept in a bassinette in our room until they were 2 months old, then we moved them into a crib into their own room.
