Should I buy my son a toy with my birthday money?

I really want him to have this toy and I'll never be able to afford it otherwise.

  • I've done it before. If it makes you happy to buy it for him, then thats your gift.

  • I always do that....... seeing my kids happy is my biggest joy. Plus them being occupied with something new means more free time for me

  • LOL I always get people telling me, "Now this is to spend on YOU not Tony or the kids" but honestly if there's nothing I need or want or what they need or want is more important, it makes me happy to be able to get it for them. And as was mentioned...it's YOUR Money, do what you want to do with it!
