  • They are always "babies" lol. Well, to me anyway.
    But really...after 12 months is a toddler

  • age 7 is the cut off IMO anything before that is a baby :) unless we're talking about showdowns. in that case, i would say 18mo and under for the baby category.

  • I say up until they can walk, they are a baby. When they can walk up until they are 3, they are a toddler. After that, they are a pre-schooler.

  • Technically I'd call them a toddler when they turn one or when they start walking and pre-schooler when they turn 3. In reality I call my almost 3 year old twins my babies, and I'm not ready to think of them as pre-schoolers.

  • I think when they start running is a good age to stop refering to them as a baby.

  • At 12 months they are a toddler IMO, and 3 years is preschooler

  • 1-12 months = baby
    12-36 months = toddler
    3-4 years = preschooler
    5+ = school aged

  • What?! Toddler starts after 12 months? That means my son is only technically a baby for 3 more months. :( Time flies much too quickly.
