obviously a tortilla chip but here is something I do for parties. I take flour tortillas and pan fry them until golden brown in a couple tablespoons of oil. then lay on paper towels to dry the grease off and cut into 4ths or however it works to cut them. they are delacate but so so good.
I like tortilla chips, the small round ones....the large ones break too easy and I think a 7 layer dip is too thick for the scoops....OR I'd go with blue tortilla chips, they are delicious and are stronger than the regular tortillas so they wouldn't be breaking in the dip.
