Is there a right or wrong way to pull a kids tooth? I always feel like I am doing it wrong or something!

He is 6.5 and it was VERY loose, I didnt even pull that hard...

But you cant see roots really or anything....I just worry I pull it too soon or the wrong way or something!

  • OP here: well B/c it was super wiggly and there was a tooth coming in behind it and a baby tooth being in the way can make the big tooth come in crooked!

  • There should be no root visible in a baby tooth that is ready to fall out, so not seeing a root is a good thing.

  • let it come out by itself

  • That loose tooth is saving a spot for the new tooth. It will fall out. Crooked teeth or not, pulling it won't stop that.
