Does anyone else think it's weird that we don't have disposable clothes yet?

Not that I agree with having a disposable life... I cloth diaper and don't use paper plates, etc. But we have disposable EVERYTHING. Cameras, cutlery, diapers, wipes, toilet paper, feminine hygine products, cups, bowls... need I go on? How is it that no one has come up with disposable clothing?

  • Awesome point. I guess marketers know we just don't need disposable clothes. People just keep buying them anyway, so they kind of are disposable. Not as "one time use" as most other disposable things, but still. People don't run out of clothes before they go buying more.

  • I would think it weird to have disposable clothes. Unless they were made out of hemp or something. We could always use a good new crop to grow.

  • That's true---disposable items are clogging up the landfills all over the world and it is bad for the environment. I would hate disposable clothing.
