I just fed my son 11pm tonight, he's 8 months old he usually wakes around 2AM then 6am should he get a bottle each time or to much food?? Someone said to give water....

Don't want to overfeed him & have weight problem

  • one, no, you don't give him water to replace formula. Whoever told you that is totally wrong.

    If he is hungry, feed him. At 8 months old it won't give him a weight problem.

    Now if you want to determine if he's actually hungry, or just woke up for other reason, try rocking him back to sleep first, or giving him a paci, and change his diaper. If he's not really hungry, he will fall back to sleep within the first 5 minutes. If not, he's probably hungry.
