  • Probably not. How old is your baby?

  • No. Depending on the baby's age, he may be waking out of habit. Ask your doc. how often he should be eating and whether or not he should still be eating at night. Mine told us at 4 mos. that as long as she was eating every 4 hours in the day, she could skip eating at night. Most likely, he has developed the habit of waking in the night to eat.

  • Babies sleep through the night when they are ready, not when you are ready for them to. Very few babies sleep through the night (six solid hours) before their first birthday.

  • Nope. And adding cereal to thier bottle is not recommended anon. It will not help them sleep either..lol..They sleep through the nite when they are ready. Eating isnt a part of it :)

Why? The baby could choke, get horrible tummy acts, rice cereal is nasty and it doesn't help them sleep. Older babies get up for company more often than food.

  • Lots of research proves adding rice cereal to the bottle does NOT work! Giving a bigger bottle will not work either. Babies need to eat frequently, it is how nature made them and what is best for them (it may not be convenient for you, but is best for them).
