i'm losing my mind..

we started potty training...dd did really well yesterday...less than 5 accidents, and the rest in the totally different story...she has peed on any and everything except the potty...on the couch, on the floor, on the chair, on the's very frustrating....any encouraging advice to keep my sanity? i know she can do it bc she did it yesterday....

  • Sometimes they regress. Give her time, she will get it when she is ready to do it. She may have just wanted to play today, and didn't care about using the potty.

  • It's a process. And remember, their little bodies aren't as mature as ours. They don't get the signal from their bladder to their brain in time. Plus they have to learn what that feeling is and then make it there. Even sitting her on the toilet every half hour will not ensure an accident free day.

  • she's two...i don't expect her to be trained in one day anon 4:21(you were so helpful btw...great advice you gave! :I )...but i didn't expect her to go from using the potty very well one day to asking to wear a diaper, and peeing all over everything.
