  • I say if it's the name they like, let them. If it's the person they like, let them. I would probably be a little concerned by someone idolizing Paris Hilton becoming a mommy but hopefully she'll grow out of it when that baby's born.

  • It doesn't bother me, but I find it kind of sad.

  • Yes. Parents are using their children for a vicarious amount of fame.

  • Why would it? If it's a name they like, so be it. If it's after their idol WHO FREAKIN CARES!! It's no different than a person naming their child after their great uncles, brothers, cousins, friends sister.

  • Not as much as that guy who named his kids Adolf Hitler and Arayan Nation. I also heard of a couple who named their child "Wicked Juggalo". Compared to that, Miley doesn't seem too bad.

  • I understand many people really like the way a celeb name sounds so they use it, not simply because it is a celeb name. I think Miley and Paris are pretty names and I don't care for them at all. I would think it pretty immature to name one's child after a celeb intentionally. Don't we have better or closer people to honor?
