Do babies have their own languages?

Have you ever put two babies together? They seem to communicate with one another. Your thoughts?

  • I love babies too! They do seem to have their own language and who am I to say they don't?!? It is too cute to get two of them together, and they make their noises and when they laugh together. So innocent and cute! Blessings..

  • Not necessarily their own language but they do pick up on more non-verbal communication hen we do for example facial expressions and body language.

  • I wouldn't say language, but they obviously are able to communicate non-verbally with one another and with adults... all social animals (human included!) are able to communicate in some means. We have two guinea pigs and although they obviously do not have 'language' they clearly communicate with each other via sounds, body language, etc. We've seen many interesting piggie 'conversations' over the years!
