HELP!!!! my 2.5 month old keeps breaking loose from her swaddle and waking up. she does this about 10 times a night. we have tried swaddle blankets, waffle blankets, swaddle sac w velcro, you name it. she WILL not sleep ANYWHERE w/o being swaddled. i feel like i am going to fall over i am so tired. what to do?!

  • Hold her and rock her to sleep, nurse her to sleep.... don't put her down until she is in deep sleep (limp limbs, slow steady breathing, heavy head). If you are putting her in a crib , find a smaller sleeping place like a bassinet or co-sleeper, and for during the day a swing, or infant chair. Cribs are vast, and are kind of scary and cold. Make her feel safe.

    I normally would recommend simply bedsharing but unless you breastfeed and get some rest first, a cosleeper or sidecarred crib is an alternative.

  • get a woombie! its like a sleeping sack but it has no arms and is night and snug like swaddling :) my 3 month old still sleeps in his every night
    check ebay for them or amazon
