What would you say to someone whose friend lost their daughter and now their son to a disease where they die in their sleep? How heart wrenching. He does not want to go to the funeral.

What words of wisdom can I say to cheer him up????

  • hugsNot much to say but Condolences. Sometimes NOT saying anything, just being there is the wisest thing. Sending a hug for him.

  • Life is already full of heartache, it doesn't have to be full of regret. He can choose to be there with the other people that are feeling deep pain and the family of the children will know that he feels for them. It's about closure and if he has any feeling that he will regret not being there for them in their time of need then he needs to muster up the courage to be there for them.
