Working as an Adult/or Not?

I was reading a post where a CM'er said she thinks it's ((SAD)) if someone hasn't worked as an adult or started working late as an adult 25 or older. What do you think?

  • I think it's sad if the reason is because they're freeloading off their parents or someone. But what about people who go to college and then grad school and don't get their final degree until they're "older"? Or people who get married (or move in with someone) and have kids young, and they're willing and able to stay home as their job? Those situations I don't think are sad at all; it's their prerogative.

  • i think it depends on the situation.

  • I think it also depends on the situation, there are certain those parents putting themselves through college with the help of family members and things of that nature..

  • working as a teen teaches responsibility so I guess its nice if they never had to work but at the same time we learn alot by working.
