  • When I was a week past my due date, my gynecologist told me to mix 2 ounces of castor oil in a can of Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb, drink it all (try to keep it down). I did it and the next day I was in labor.

  • Really nothing to be honest. Best suggestion is to walk and have lots of sex. Male semen softens your cervix. Also, you can ask your doctor to strip your membranes assuming you are far enough along. My doctor stripped my membranes with my daughter at 40 weeks, and I was in hard labor within 6 hours.

  • I do NOT agree with that at all. Sex and walking are the recommended way

  • I can not believe an OB recommended to do the castor oil. If your body isn't ready that just gives you horrible cramps and miserable diarrhea!
as much as the end of pregnancy sucks the best thing to do is wait for your baby to be ready.

  • Pitocin. The baby will come when it's ready.
