from the way it looks this ordinance is going to be passed, i just wish my whole state adopted this ordinance. i feel if you dont belong here then u should get the privileges of American citizens

so what do u think?

and im posting this in just for fun and not politics cause i just want a friendly just for fun discussion and besides only the cool chicks seem to hang in the just for fun section lol

    Maybe. It would depend on the fine. If they can under pay illegals and pay the fine and still wind up paying less than they would by paying one citizen a fair wage, it won't stop anything.

    Also, it should be pointed out that the only people REALLY hurt by this kind of thing is consumers... Why? Well, because we are the ones that are paying for the products and services that these companies are putting out and we are the ones who have to pay higher rates so that these extra penalties and fines or higher wages.

    Personally, I have never had an issue with "illegal" laborers... Because I understand that citizens aren't going to work for $3 an hour... Which means without that "illegal" labor out costs go up on everything from grapes to bread...
