  • I have been cleaning houses for almost 15 years. I work by the job and estimate the pay at 20.00/hour.

  • If you were JUST starting out and had no "business" expirience in that field, I would say it is a little much.....

  • I've cleaned houses for a living and I always charge at least $20 an hour. I'm house sitting right now for a friend in a $1.3M Ranch on 60 acres. (!!!) Her maid came in yesterday for 3 hours and received a check for $100.

  • I currently clean homes for $10 an hour- and I've found that I have more job offers than people charging more. I figured I'd undercut their prices, do a good job, and then start bumping up my rates once I had a full list of clients. It's a recession- not very many people can afford the "normal" wages.
