  • I don't think so...unless it gets really hot or something I think you and baby should be fine. :)

  • If UR really questioning it, then I wouldn't suggest doing it. Maybe put a pillow on top of UR lap, then put the laptop on it. Could it cause harm? Maybe not...but I know a lot of them can really heat up and too much heat isn't good on UR belly when UR pregnant.

I have no real answer for you but if it were me, I'd just use a pillow to prop it up. :)

  • The kinds of radiation a laptop puts out don't penetrate tissues very well. The heat isn't enough to raise your body temperature. it's fine :)

  • Oh my goodness! I just had a flash-forward to the future where there will be a warning stamped onto all laptops for all pregnant women to seek the advice of their physicians before use......Yikes!

In an industrialized world, we are surrounded by electromagnetic fields (EMF). In the last decade, the health effects of EMF have been intensively studied especially in connection with mobile phones and cancer. Less studied but nonetheless very important are the possible effects of EMF on the unborn child.
