Breastfed Baby Poop Question

Over the last 24 hours my 1mo EBF baby girl has gone from the normal, seedy yellow poop to a not seedy brown poop. Any ideas on what would cause this? I'm more curious than anything- she's eating well and behaving normally.

  • any color except black, grey, or red is perfectly fine. My breastfed daughter has had darker brown bowel movements since she was about a month old, and I think it was only seedy for about a week, if that.

  • Over time the consistency and look of poop changes.

  • Expect many changes in poop, but also don't worry if it DOESN'T change. If she doesn't seem like anything is bothering her, then it's just one of those things.
