Do u really think bouncing on a exercise ball really can help labor?

  • It helped me. I didn't bounce so much as rocked. I also used it against my chest to lay against so I wasn't supporting with my arms.

  • The ball i loved the ball when I was in labor. It took so much of the pressure off my back. I loved the ball it was my saver.

  • It's the motion of squating when you bounce into the ball that helps. For the fact that it helps bring baby down easier.

  • Yes, well I feel that it's more rocking and swaying ( "supported squat position), than bouncing.

    But if you feel like bouncing then there must be a reason...

  • It really helped me! I did actually bounce on it... not like trying to touch the ceiling bouncing just small bounces and it really helped open my cervix and bring her down. Idk if its for everyone but it's worth a try.

  • It does help. Squatting helps bring the baby down and open the cervix. The rocking motion is comforting.
