  • As a reading specialist, with a degree in developmental psych, I say it is a waste of money. It is not what is developmentally appropriate. Babies and toddlers learn by hands on exploration of their world. They learn language best when being talked to, sung to, and read to. Part of the program involves dvds, which is proven to NOT increase vocabulary. You can give your child a much better "head start" by building with blocks, digging in the sand, looking at books, taking them to the zoo, and doing puzzles all while talking to them.
